• Is the Harrisburg Beach Club open year around? 

    We are open Spring through Fall. Spring opening is usually scheduled for late March or early April. We remain open all summer until the end of October.

    Is there a cover fee for the Harrisburg Beach Club? 

    No, entry to the Harrisburg Beach Club is free and we are open to the public

    What are the operating hours for the Harrisburg Beach Club? 

    Harrisburg Beach Club is open Thursday & Friday 4pm to 10 pm and Saturday & Sunday from noon to 10pm. These hours will be subject to change at any time and are weather dependent

    In the event of bad weather, how do I find out if you're open?

    Do you take reservations for private parties?

    We offer a few options for events depending on the size of your party and what day of the week you are planning. Please contact info@harrisburgbeachclub.com for additional details or fill out the form found on the event tab on this website.

    Do you have live music? 

    Heck yeah! We have a broad selection of artists, see the latest schedule under upcoming events.

    What about food? 

    We are excited to have the Harrisburg Beach Club food truck on-premise. The food truck is open during opening hours.

    Can I bring my kids?

    Of course! We encourage people to bring their kids. The Harrisburg Beach Club is fun for all ages. 

    Cool, you're kid-friendly, but what about dogs?

    We love dogs and allow them at HBC, but ask that you please keep them on a leash at all times. 

    Where can I park? Does it cost money?

    Parking is available at the main City Island entrance, located directly off of the Market Street Bridge. Parking is free, except during the Senator’s games; parking is $5. 

    Can I bring my own beverages?

    No. Outside alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

    Can I smoke?

    There is strictly no smoking anywhere on the property.

    Any age restrictions?

    Within our parameters, if you are under the age of 21, you must be with a parent or legal guardian. This is required by Pennsylvania law.

    What vendors will be at HBC?

    Harrisburg Beach Club will be featuring Hidden Still spirits along with other Pennsylvania Beers and Wines.

    Was the City Island Bath House restored using public money?

    The City Island Bath House has been abandoned for two decades. The current extensive restoration of the property was completed using private funds with no added cost to taxpayers. We are hopeful other individuals bring their business ideas to the island, and we are here to help with any advice to any member of the community on the process! 

    What is being done to help clean up the Susquehanna River?

    The Susquehanna River is one of Harrisburg's greatest assets. The Harrisburg Beach Club hopes to be another voice asking for action to protect and clean the river. Through education and hosting conversations, we are going to be a daily reminder of how important it is we talk about and force change.
